Looking for workout classes but don't want to join a gym?

Here you'll find a series of easy to follow virtual workout videos, including a warm up and cool down stretch. The workouts require no equipment, but have the option to add equipment if you have it and/or need to intensify the workout. And you never have to leave the comfort of your own home!

Even better, you can still workout if you have to travel for work, or you still have classes available to you if you're on vacation and don't want to get out of the habit. All you need is an internet connection and some space to move around.

The strength, cardio, combo and kickboxing sessions are tabata-style, wherein you work for a set amount of time then rest for a short time, repeating this throughout the whole workout with various movements. The stretch sessions are similar to yoga, but focusing on moving through the entire range of motion of the joints in your body.

Strength-focused Sessions

Here are the strength session videos!

Each session is a 30- to 40-minute, body weight, session that will be focused on increasing strength with minimal use of equipment. If you do not have any formal gym equipment (dumbbells, kettlebells, etc), no worries! You can always create your own using things around the house. You can pick up a jug of water, some canned goods, fill a backpack full of books, whatever it takes. You can also do this workout with no equipment!

In the description of each individual workout, you will find a list of the movements used in the workout and a description of the timing used as well.

Cardio-focused Sessions

Each cardio session will focus on increasing muscle stamina and cardio endurance with minimal use of equipment. If you do not have any formal gym equipment (dumbbells, kettlebells, etc), no worries! You can always create your own using things around the house. You can pick up a jug of water, some canned goods, fill a backpack full of books, whatever it takes. You can also do this workout with no equipment!

Combo Sessions

Each combo session will use a combination of cardio, strength and stretching to increase our overall fitness using functional movements and minimal equipment. If you do not have any formal gym equipment (dumbbells, kettlebells, etc), no worries! You can always create your own using things around the house. You can pick up a jug of water, some canned goods, fill a backpack full of books, whatever it takes. You can also do this workout with no equipment!

Kickboxing Sessions

Each kickboxing session is a 30-minute, body weight High Intensity Interval Training Class designed to help you get your blood pumping and endorphins flowing to give you energy throughout the day. All fitness levels welcome. No equipment required; you may want to have a mat handy, if you have one, a towel, if you get sweaty, and your water.

In the description of each workout, you'll find a list of the combinations used in each round of the workout.

Flexibility/Mobility Improvement Sessions

In each flexibility/mobility improvement session, we are going to focus on improving flexibility and mobility through stretching and posing, similar to yoga. I highly encourage a mat or carpeted area for this session. No equipment will be needed. I don't always know the names of these movements, just how the body is supposed to move, so I've opted not to provide a list of the stretches to prevent unnecessary confusion.
